Meet Jordan
I grew up around the electrical trade. My dad was an electrician, and from a young age I watched him approach every job with pride, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility. He taught me that your reputation is built one job at a time, that hard work matters, and that treating people fairly is just as important as the quality of the work itself.
At 18, I started my apprenticeship and began building my own path in the trade. Over the past 14 years, I've worked for several electrical contractors across residential and commercial projects, gaining experience while carrying those lessons with me every step of the way.
One of the biggest influences on my perspective came from watching my dad dedicate 25 years to helping build a company he believed he would eventually gain ownership in after the original owner retired. When that time came, the business was instead passed down through the family. It was a difficult experience, but rather than becoming bitter, he took it as a lesson — the importance of looking after yourself, investing in what you build, and creating something that reflects your own values.
When I started my apprenticeship, he gave me advice I've never forgotten: take care of yourself, because nobody else will. Combined with the values he'd already instilled in me — honesty, accountability, hard work, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching — it became the foundation for how I approach both life and business. Those lessons are ultimately what led me to start Net Zero Electric: to build something stable, honest, and intentional for my family and for the customers we serve.
Today, I'm a husband, father of three, and youth sports coach. Those roles shape everything I do. They've taught me patience, consistency, and the importance of showing up the right way every time.
In my work, I believe in a simple standard: do your best even when no one is watching. Pay attention to the details. Communicate clearly. And finish the job the right way. My goal isn't to be the biggest company — it's to be the one people trust the most.
